Maybe social norms don't matter to you. But keeping games light-hearted and fun, especially for players you've never seen before, is the best way to keep them profitable.
The harasser should get thrown out regardless, absolutely. However many of the non criminal opponents paying attention at your table are also drawing inferences. Do you want them trying to play their best against you? Wouldn't that invalidate hundreds of hours of information on how they used to play against you when the games dynamic was different?
