lots of "legal" nice poker clubs in houston, tx opened recently. all are time charged to "bend" texas ban on gambling..

To answer the simplest component, however, yes, it is beatable. Unless, of course, you don't play in casinos at all given that you would be losing far more than $15 out of your pocket each hour (on average) to the rake.
Do I wish it was less? Sure. However, less would also likely place the game in a craphole of an environment in a part of town that I don't feel safe.
