At the vast majority of casinos I have played at the dealer is expected to read all tabled hands when they are tabled. Based on what some hav said here there are a minority of rooms where dealers are instructed to wait until all hands are tabled. This is a tiny minority in my experience. I can’t recall any that do it that way. But I can’t say I recall any.

You might wish it so (I wouldn't), but it isn't so (at least not most places).
Are you aware of anyplace where the rule is as you suggest?
If he wants to know what his opponent has tabled before deciding to table or muck his own hand, that's his prerogative; the dealer or any other player can read it.
