Have you ever sat at a table and noticed players signaling one another during hands? Have you ever sat at a table and noticed players signaling one another during hands?

What'd you do? Or, if not, what would you do?

I have blacked out the faces here in attempt to keep the knuckleheads with their sock accounts at bay, and because I am really asking how you would handle yourself, if after a few to several sessions you noticed that a few regs, and sometimes their guests as well, were observed doing this...

Thanks in advance for any honest help here.

Is this really an attempt at reviving the HCL thread that was locked? Weren’t you one who was constantly posting in there? Do you think people are really that gullible to fall for this attempt at reviving a dead thread?

No... not at all. I am honestly curious about how actual poker players would handle themselves in such a situation. But thanks for inviting the trolls to pounce. <shaking head>

I would invite and even beg the mods to delete any comments relating to that thread and allow us to focus solely on how to handle signaling.

In 'many many' sessions I've never felt/seen/worried about actual physical signals being sent from Player to Player. And if there were ever a Player that looks for live tells .. it's me.

Slow play and/or Team play .. yes .. seen it/caught it/dealt with it. It would take a pretty elaborate set of signals to offer up intel about 'removed' suits or ranks that would allow another Player to know that their equity may be reduced by 3-8%. GL

OK... more to the point:
would you sit at a table with that going on?

I have played live for some time myself and understand your post. But let me add that these 'one finger' and 'two finger' signals were happening in at least three specific places. Sometimes on the lower arm, sometimes on the upper arm and sometimes on the head/face. Without going into to much detail on how much of a poker conversation this makes possible, I would just point out that several combinations do become possible.

I think it also relevant to point out that this was happening while RFID cards were being used and there was a control room that did get all the information in real time.

Does that change anything?

Do you sit at a table where you know this is going on?

+EV if I can read the signals.

I feel like I make many of these "signals" all the time without realizing it, not just at the poker table but just generally when I'm sitting. I imagine most other people do as well. What is your evidence that this is intentional?
