What started off as a friendly 2/5 game that plays 5/10 appears to be evolving into something considerably larger. If lots of young guns & local ballers are starting to show up & buying in for the max limit, this game is going to play like a 5/10 on steroids. That's fine as far as that goes, but realize that such an atmosphere is not going to be conducive to attracting weekend tourists & other fish who show up wanting to drink, socialize, & gamble it up their $300-$500 buy-in. Moreover, they are going to quickly realize that without a lot of luck, it is going to be extremely difficult for them to compete surrounded by such a large circle of oversized stacks.
Seems to me you might be in danger of scaring away those your initial game was designed to attract! Yes/No?
Now that you've got multiple tables running every Tuesday night, perhaps you should consider set up different buy-in levels at different tables in order to keep things fair & keep everyone comfortable.
Table 1: $300 min / $500 max
Table 2: $500 min / $1000 max
Table 3: $1000 min / $3000 max
Table 4: $2000 min / $5000 max
You could even add demeaning names for the different tables:
Table 1 = Little Boy Table (make them wear bibs & drink out of sippy cups)
Table 2 = FISH & GUPPIES
Table 3 = Sharks
Table 4 = Swinging Richards & Big Ballers
