Just got back from a 4 day trip to Vegas, played 2/5 at the Wynn, Venetian, Hard Rock, & MGM. As usual, I thought the best games (i.e., worst players) were at the MGM. Played at the Wynn one night & met a couple of locals who told me about a new game being played at the Hard Rock--below are the written RULES of the game!

Recommended SHOT for everyone at the table whenever a full house wins (winner not included).
Seven Deuce bounty: $10 paid by every active player (unless missed blind button) to anyone who wins pot with pocket 7-2 any suit.
FYI: I think I was the only tourist at the table, and though I'm not inferring / suggesting that any collusion was going on, definitely most of the people at the table were locals and friends &/or at least knew one another.
VERY fun game, though the locals didn't do anywhere near the amount of trash talkin' that I did. It was their game, yet somehow I was the biggest loudmouth at the table, even though being loud & obnoxious is supposedly the whole idea behind the game.
Though it's supposedly a 2/5 game, it plays like a 5/10 and I'd say about half the table bought in for between $1,000-$3,000. My initial $500 buy-in was not enough to compete. Had a ton of fun but walked away a loser.
Next time your in Vegas definitely stop by the Hard Rock on Tuesdays, & by the way, very nice room! Second best poker table seats ever (1st place goes to the seats at the Borgatta in A.C.), well-illuminated tables, perfectly positioned TVs, all-in-all a very nice (though small) poker room, plus tons of young hotties everywhere!
That sounds like a fun ass game to get drunk, play and trash talk the s *** out of ppl. Next time I am in vegas I will def. check it out. I pl;ay a small home game thats like that with all the trash talking to I am pretty good at it and taking it.
Not proud of it but I was doing this (giving advice, telling ppl they didnt bet enough to get me off my draws then I would hit it) at PH when I was there. So not so much trash talking as much as giving advice but being that I was the drunk guy no one would listen to me or take my advice. I was talking to one of the dealers about it the next day adn asked him if i was being a d ick he told me it was more that I was drunk so no one was paying attention. And the only reason I was eveing giving the advice was because I was drunk and having fun.
i got there a bit late, played at that short table then hu vs the guy "joey" that looks like jean claude van damme. god he was ****ing nuts. left up about 1500 off him tho, like almost all from having to reshove turns in 3bet pots with air. anyway i was in the striped brown hoodie + blue gym shorts. stylin
This was only the second week of it(my first), and a couple "bugs" regarding what is & isn't allowed are still being ironed out. Regardless, it's some serious laughs.
No worries about collusion-if anything, the regulars will end up with bounties on each other.
If you are an anal retentive crybaby who is easily offended, you probably ought to just just find somewhere else to go.
Do the waitresses wear clothes or are they in painted-on bikinis and handing out cigars?
They go topless but to prevent sexual harassment there's an all-male waitstaff for this table. You get a free cigar if you correctly guess which bump it is.
Hey this is "Sanford The Donkey." I am basically one of the originators and top promoter for this event. If you have any questions, I'm here to answer them. Our turnout has more than doubled each week and we haven't even REALLY started to push this event. Now we're in the process of printing official flyers (will post here in a few days) and the casino is now totally behind it as well. Further, we are looking to get some celebs on board and bring cameras so we can pitch this to a network. The slowrolling is itself worth the price of traveling to the event!!
