A few years back, I was playing at Winstar in a daily MTT.
I was in the big blind, the specific hand I held was not important. I opened from the BB for 3 big blinds, and the big blind called me.
I missed the flop, but c-bet after the big blind checked.
The turn did not improve my hand. Both big blind and I checked.
The river was another blank. The big blind bet about half pot. I hesitated just a second to make sure I didn't have anything, then tossed my cards, face down, to the dealer.
At this point, the dealer gathered my cards, mixed them into the muck, then gathered the pot and pushed it to the big blind. He then proceeded to announce 'Small blind, Big blind' and started shuffling the cards.
Reminds me of this time I got it all in when I turned the nut heart flush and my opponent had a gutshot straight flush draw. And of course, wouldn't you know it, 1 in 44 chance, the 9 of spades hits and I win.
