The casinos that require you to put out at least a stack for the cameras also require the dealer to put out the all-in button. The all-in button is key here in any case.
In a casino that has this “house rule” it should go like this
-Player announces all in
-Dealer throws the all in puck/plaque
-Dealer instructs player to “push forward at least one stack”
If the other player calls, gross misunderstanding is not in play.
