Grunching, but what stakes are you playing Shoe?

I saw this thread got a few bumps about a year ago, I meant to reply but forgot... and my OP was a long time before that. This is still a dream of mine, and I hope to make it somewhat of a reality combined with travelling across the country assuming I survive the pandemic and things return to normal at some point in the next few years. Thanks all for the replies, I still have some safety concerns but I think as long as I plan things out ahead of time should be fine. Might even combine with some good campgrounds that I can play online in states where that is legal assuming the games are good enough and I can maintain a good connection, but I haven't tried any of the new regulated sites in states like PA yet.

The Bellagio has RV parking for a few rv's right in front next to the valet... It's not long term, but it is there.

Turning Stone in NY State has their own RV park, my parents used to stay there all the time. Unfortunately for now, even though poker is 7 handed, they're only allowing people who live withing 120 miles from the property into the casino.

If you live in your RV, and you're parked in their lot, you live within 0 miles from the property.

They still won't let you in the casino, not even sure about the RV lot. It depends what address is on your license.

I've never had an issue
but I do call ahead and inquire about parking as the last thing you want is to get in and not be able to get out or try to go where you don't have the overhead clearance.

security will roust you if sleeping in a car or van as not allowed
but those that welcome rver's will not bother you in an rv.

I've never felt unsafe
but than again the 357 under my pillow alway's makes me feel secure

Now it`s unsafe even to go to the Casino, like we must understand that if they are open it does`t mean that we should go there, especially when we have the alternative to play from home. Well it couldn't be a worse time to try and pursue this dream. But if you want to get creative, you could drive to a legal online poker state and camp out. When this pandemic thing finally goes away, there will be another poker boom from all of the degens that can't wait to get back to the felt and I think we are all looking forward to that day.

You're probably more than safe just don't keep huge amounts at one time.

Are you playing at the casinos? Is the purpose of the trip to gamble or travel?
