I'm a 55 year old heroin addict, shot up more opiods than you can shake a stick at. Not to mention the cocaine I freebased and snorted and shot and the crystal LSD I accidently ingested ... but I'm still breathing. Drugs are fine.

He's gonna have to learn it the same way Herman Cain did... it'd be funny if it wasn't so sad

I'm still not reading it right I think. I'll give the benefit of the doubt and bow out Thank you for trying to clear it up for me.

Might we legalize heroin since the death rate for covid is similar to the death rate for heroin users? Or was before fentanyl became a widespread adulterant a decade ago.

NO ONE IS FORCING ANYONE TO PLAY!!! If you don't feel safe playing, then just stay home and don't play, but for those who do want to play, why do our options have to be so limited?

If you live anywhere in the Northeast part of the US you are limited to just 2 places to play right now, Maryland Live and MGM.

All the poker rooms in NJ (Atlantic City), all of PA and DE are still closed down, yet those 2 in Maryland seems to operating just fine.

Why can't the choice be left up to the players if they want to play or not?

But nooooooo, instead they wanna keep all the poker rooms shut down in those states.

These tyrannical governors in those states have really used governmental overreach to keep so many businesses closed (especially restaurants) and have put many others out of business for good as well as ruined people's livelihoods!

Let the people decide!!! If you can go to Walmart and supermarkets and other so many other crowded places, why can't you have a choice to play poker too???

If you're worried about becoming infected, it's very simple, STAY HOME!!!

Good point !!!!
But its it all the states and government keeping them closed ????

Or the properties making the decisions
Based on needing dealers, floor staff and other employees to work in a possible unsafe situation - Choice they would need to make!!!

Its a tricky decision !!! Poker is not and has never been the most cleanliness environment; I've seen more colds and ailments from year /and years of playing live poker ............then any other condition..

JUST PLAY online or find another hobby for now!!

I don't expect that poster to respond to you, but the cognitive dissonance being expressed on these forums, whose denizens have a capacity for reasoning that supposedly skews higher than the general public, renders a high-res image of why we are in this mess.

With the rooms that have plexiglass has the floor modified the rules when it comes to verbal betting. What happens if someone says something and then another doesn't hear it or it's contested? I would think chips only betting would be prudent in this situation.

Recommend you only react to very clear and distinct verbal bets. Or just always verify with dealer what the bet is if there is any chance of confusion.

Why not just cut some small circular holes in the plexiglass so the players could hear each other?

I Haven't seen an issue yet. Just be clear what the action is before you act, if ambiguous.

And they should cut an area open in your mask so you can eat and drink without taking it off.

Just request they blend your food and drink together and suck/snort it through a straw.

You get mad props if it's a twisty straw.

Thanks to all the posters who evaluated the "small circular holes" suggestion.

Now, if we could only do something about the oblong holes at the table level right in front of each player (you know, where the players put their hands and their chips through), and the giant oval hole above the wall of plexiglass (dang, that hole reaches all the way to the ceiling!), ...
