My favorite thread used to be the funniest things you've witnessed at a live game. It was epic. Whatever happened to that thread? Can we start a new one?

I guess it depends on your point of view .. But I witnessed a BBJ where the 'loser' of the hand was a bit drunk and was screaming at the Dealer to muck his hand so he could rebuy. The Dealer tried to explain that he got bad beat and the the guy was like 'No $%*&' .. 'next hand'.
He got really upset when the Dealer said he just 'won' $40k by getting beat. BS he says, muck my hand and let me rebuy.
Well, a buddy finally got his girlfriend from the pits into the poker room to calm him down. Apparently this was only his 2nd time playing live poker and he had no clue what a BBJ was at the time. Security had entered the room and if not for the girlfriend he may have been tossed from the casino for berating the Dealer (before he could collect).
Now that could be funny or it could be sad .. as in pretty sad that a clueless Player won a bunch of money that will probably never see the light of a poker room again. GL

lol. nice. I can see Michael Scott playing the role in that one.
But why was that thread deleted? and 2+2 wonders why traffic is down

Agree the thread deletions were poorly chosen.
I recently was going to post a question not deserving a separate thread. Nope, that one is gone. Meanwhile we have threads in venues with 1) rooms long since closed and no indication they might ever reopen (heck I suspect some of the casinos have closed and been demo’d) 2) no posts or activity in over a decade and 3) threads literally closed over a decade ago. That makes perfect sense.

Err what thread deletions are we talking about now?
The only threads I delete are spam, dupes, and occasional troll threads. I do sometimes move/merge threads into other threads.

As Canceler pointed out, it wasn't deleted. It just hasn't been replied to in years and OP couldn't find it. It's almost as if everyone stopped playing live poker for a while and had no new stories to share.
