I've seen plenty of #1 end up with face. I definitely try to limit my Flop exposure if I can't improve my hand .. But if 'forced' to via action/stacks and/or if there's 3rd party dead money in there, then you pretty much gotta cross fingers and go with it. (We all can't have it, right?) If you are last to act it's certainly a choice of 'value' v not bloating a pot with a vulnerable holding.

Last night one guy had a 2-outer for a higher straight .. and River hit it! But it also was connected to runner-runner flush for the other guy.
