So, I‘m 4000 hands in with PokerStars and plan to join a live casino cash game for the first time tomorrow. Kind of ****ting my pants just thinking about it.... any tips for a live-game-virgin?

Just pay attention and don't get distracted. Follow the action and know when it is your turn to act. If you are unsure of an action or bet size, you can refer to the dealer. Don't be too scared, you'll be fine.

Verbalize your action.
If you want to raise, say raise. Then you won't fall foul of ambiguous actions tripping you up.

Yeah, find the nearest exit . . . just kidding.

Play tight, realize that people aren't very aggressive so when the general population shows aggression, they almost always have it. Position is very important 10 handed and mostly you're just going to play 'make the best hand' poker since most tables are loose.

If you throw in one chip without saying anything that's a call, regardless of the denomination of the chip.

Expect to lose for a little bit (like a few hundred hours), so only bring money you can comfortably leave without.

It won't be a constant losing, but you'll probably lose more sessions than you win at the beginning, especially if you have a grand total of 4K online hands played

Also, leave your atm card at home.
