Hey,

I've been playing online for a while, 6m NLH and the rake is roughly 5% capped at 5bb.
I went to the Commerce Casino in LA and played some 5/10 and they take 2 bucks out the pot if you win preflop, and 5 bucks out on the flop, (and 1 OTR). is this more rake than online? what are the adjustments.

I imagine 3bet only, never limp or limp behind, chop the blinds. Do we have to open tighter and 3bet tighter, if so what hands are being dumped?

Thanks.

5% capped at 5bb's is the highest I've ever heard of for online. So if you play 5/10 it's capped at $50 per pot and $25 per pot for 2/5? That's horrible.

Yeah that's about right. No limping, PFR roughly 20% tighter. Select tables where opponents main mistake is stacking off too light on turn and river. Isoing and taking it down OTF with a cbet is a much less profitable tactic with the drop taken out.

this is 50nl on stars, I have played a live 2/5NL game that had pot rake and its 5% capped at 2bb, the average pot size at a guess is about $50, so on average they will take 2.5 bucks out, whereas they take 7 bucks to see a flop in commerce.

ok but you were talking about 5/10 lol, the micros are capped at 1 or 2 dollars, and it's about 3bb's maybe 4 or 5 in the lowest games
