I don't think you know what passive aggressive means. If anyone in this situation is being passive aggressive it's the guy that doesn't do anything when the dealer tells him he "should separate (chips)". Once the dealer doesn't enforce it the next logical step is going to the floor.

When people sit down, buy in for more than the max, and dealer doesn't notice, or doesn't say anything, what do you do?

A) Ignore it
B) Ask the player to remove the chips
C) Go the indirect route like me
If he's a fish he can buy in for $5,000 for all I care hahaha.
