Not really. None of the dealers in my room live up to the standards preached on here, and nobody else gives a crap, so I just have to sit and suffer in silence.

I'm not at all surprised that your simplistic idealistic strawman does not hold up to your own scrutiny. I agree with all that you say about how dealers can be. Happily the traits you describe are far from the norm in the places I've played and worked, but I've not been everywhere. If they are for you, then that's a bummer.

I don't disagree with you about how dealers can be, nor am I necessarily defending the dealer in this situation.
What I'm saying is that no matter how you feel you've been treated or how you judge what a dealer does or does not deserve, my simple truth remains: It is not appropriate to demean and curse at a service worker during the course of his job. Even if that dealer is actively insulting you and cursing at you. There are other methods of dealing with this.
I get it, he pissed you off. And I understand becoming heated in the moment. I don't judge that. I get it. I'm asking you to step back from your anger.
I'm only one person; I can only deal with one problem at a time. Your chosen method has a high likelihood of me having to have a chat with
you which is then keeping me from having a chat about the dealer about whatever it is that got you worked up in the first place. Cursing at a dealer is very often grounds for being removed from the room for the night. I'm not interested in finding out how much of it was "justified", because I don't give a crap. You crossed a line.
It's counter-productive for all involved. Let me address the cause of your anger rather than the anger itself. Help me help you.
