Cruise Ship Poker

Before I ask... yes I know the rake is too high, but also heard that it can still be profitable due to the fish that normally play.

Looking to take a cruise sometime in Feb.
Will most likely be sailing out of New Orleans, Galveston TX or Port Canaveral. Has anyone sailed from any of these ports recently on either Royal Caribbean or Carnival and played poker? Last cruise was on Royal Caribbean out of New Orleans about 4 years ago and the poker was a no go as far as cash games, only a dinky $50 rebuy tourney/SNG one night.

Re: Cruise Ship Poker

I played on a Norwegian cruise. The rake was uncapped, and the dealers were incompetent (e.g., one dealer didn't know what a side pot was, and attempted to cap the betting at the short stack's amount.)

Was still highly profitable.
