Thank you for posting this BEFORE I posted this past weekend's Borgata stack, saving me the embarrassment and feelings of inferiority.

It was a crazy crazy table. I transferred to the table at about 3:30am Sat night (Sunday morning) and left at about 11:30. When I got there one guy had like 8k but was pretty tight, I sat 2 spots to his left. Luckily a guy sat directly to his right and literally played every hand and got lucky a few times against the big stack. Standard pre-flop raise was 50 which was getting called in 4-6 spots almost every hand. I was able to accumulate chips early on, mainly picking good spots to take down pots on the turn. Obviously things were also going my way: in a pot that ended up being about $900, I fired twice with 9-8 on the 67Ax board, blanked the river, decided to shut down and check behind to be shown 8-5.

Ran it up to $4300ish by 11am, picked up aces, the former 8k stack had about $2700 and picked up kings, I 5 bet pre, he calls and ships it on the 10 high board. Almost the entire table left after I won that hand

Let's see if the old white guy can figure out how to post pics here.

in for 300 out for 1800ish. Not bad for loaded on Macallan

and in for 300 out for 3200ish last month at Aria again. Also loaded on scotch, I am noticing a trend

The best hand was when I went all in blind with the girl next to me for $250ish because she was leaving. The table agreed to fold around and then the button woke up with AA and reshoved so I obviously called blind and rivered a straight with my Q6 off. He was unhappy to say the least...

Thanks for posting the details of how you ran it up, I love these stories. Running up a stack to 8k then losing it all though...

Some August chip-porn from my 1/2NLHE Parx run:

my stacks = results
*I accidentally filtered the start date to 2013,but my first session log was on 8/1/14 anyway, so this is still my August 2014 sample.

Is the Borgata just super soft and full of crazy gamblers? Seems like everyone can just buy in for $500 and run it up to 4k in 8 hours. Who are these people that dump 2-3k into a game every night?

It actually has some of the better players in AC. You can find a lot of action, though, and it can lead to some nice stacks, especially during the major events. (better have several buy-ins in your pocket though.) The best I ever ran up was ~3k there but it's not worth posting here.

borg players def have more gamble in them. 500max is excellent bc a lot of players will double/triple up thru pure aggression, but they don't know how to manage 200bb++ making the game incredibly juicy bc their mistakes will be huge.

Yesterday at the last minute I decided to join my wife for her trip to Vegas for work. By last minute I mean three hours before her flight we were having lunch and Margaritas and we decided I would come so I could play poker.

We got here around 5:00 and I headed to Aria to play. This pic is from 2/5 PLO where I played for about 5 hours. I bought in for $1,000 and cashed out for $5,100. Sorry for the bad view of the chips. I will hopefully have more pics from tonight and tomorrow night and will try to do a better job.

I'm seldom jealous of other people's lives, but I'm pretty green right now.
