Charles Town Goes to 9-handed Tables! Charles Town Goes to 9-handed Tables!

None of the managers, except the Head Honcho, was in favor of this. At least none of them will admit it. The games are dying out & summer is coming which will make it worse.

Now to make matters worse: It's a $6 rake AND they rake even if there is NO flop AND they rake for BBJ when there is NO flop, even though you have no chance of winning the BBJ without a flop. Did I mention NO REDUCED RAKE when 6 handed?!

There are 3 casinos in the area that Charles Town competes with & I was sure this was going to kill the casino. The other 3 have a $5 rake, no flop no drop & a reduced rake 6 handed.

Well go figure this: players still beg the floor to start a new game 6 handed. They still sit there & want to continue playing short handed when 2 tables could be combined.

You just can't fix stupid & Hollywood at Charles Town is going to take advantage of that until it dries up.

These players don't think! 2 players go to get something to eat & another to the bathroom & smoke on the way back & you're 6 handed, in a shytty game, paying a full rake. But they don't care. At least the ones that are still there don't.

I now fully understand why voters gave me Clinton & Trump to choose from: they've got their head up their ass.

What if the flop comes 38K and the turn is the 5? Do they take the BBJ rake for that too? Since there's no chance for the BBJ in that scenario either.

You must work for Clown-Town, USA!

You have your chance to make the BBJ when you see a flop. Sometimes you flop a draw, sometimes you miss. Sometimes you hit it otf. Like when it comes 987 one player has JT and the other 65

When you don't see a flop your chances of hitting the BBJ are ZERO

Every single hand that goes to the river that doesn't have a board that can facilitate the bad beat hitting should have it's BBJ pull refunded right?

I mean, you have a bunch of legitimate complaints about the place, but the focus is now on the poor logic of this one point.

@Lord_Crispen: NO! If you see a flop, you had your opportunity. Many times it will be multi-way, and nobody will have the hands needed to make a BBJ possible even if it does go to the river.

Here's the key: Once you see a flop - the pot is raked. Tough luck if a BBJ isn't possible.

You're missing the point. Your chance to hit the BBJ starts when you are dealt cards.

I'm not defending their BBJ pull before the flop. I'm just saying that your logic behind the argument isn't quite sound.
