Also, being sick for 5 days and missing work sucks.
Played that song all the time on tv commercials during Sox/Celts/B's games when I worked in the sports book. It's right in my Rat Pack/karaoke wheelhouse, I'd sing along every time, coworkers would groan.
Anybody remember the Fiesta Casino in Summerlin adopting The Commodores' "She's a Brick House" for their tv commercials in the 90s? EVERYBODY in Vegas used to sing along when that one came on! "Fiesta slot.......'OUSSSSSSE!" Only other line I can remember was "The loosest slots in the wor-horld...The Royal Flush...ca-pit-al....oftheworld!" Used to crack us up.
And oh yeah, I've been out sick all week as well, but mine comes with a once-in-a-lifetime story. I started writing a post about it last night, but about 2.5 hours into typing it (with maybe another 20-30 mins to go) my cramped hands accidentally hit some key that sent my browser back a page or two, and when I tried to get back to the page I was typing on, all that work was gone.
So let's just say my sickness included: a house that was trying to kill me; seriously wondering if I was going to survive it; a legal threat from my landlady; losing my computer; seriously wondering if my long-awaited first heart attack was immanent; and after all that, finding out at the end of the day that the brand new tv show by My Favorite Person In The World that I've been waiting two years to debut was canceled because a horse injured himself not while filming, but while being walked back to the barn.
