I really don't get how some people get amused by certain things and don't want to think to much about as to why either...

If anybody has any suggestions, like I said, I'd very much appreciate it. Thank you.

You’d be better off winning money at poker than traveling to grind live rakeback. Oceans 11 has $5 an hour if you get 100 hours in a month but theyre good on rakeback nits at the moment.

If you really want to hunt for promos, just search the details of every poker room on Bravo.

You're basically asking anyone here to do just that, since I doubt anyone knows the "best" cashback promos that are going on with as wide a scope as you apparently have. Instead of that, you'll likely get a handful of ideas that people think are good, which will lead to more questions about the details and opinions of said promos. I could tell you the rakeback promos that my room has, but if you're truly looking for the best, that alone won't help you.

The funny part was the lack of specifics in your question. Sorry to offend.

That definitely was not my intentions and why you would assume that is seems a little weird to me. I feel my assumption of my thinking that there should be some fairly active people on here who have info on my question is apparent and more than justified. (Poker player forum/Best Hourly Promo) I could be wrong but my reasoning in asking the question definitely isn't. So, I disagree with you and no offence was taken..

This. Pick a place that has several poker options within a reasonable distance for you that is a cheap place to live. Then pick the best poker room to play at for what you are looking for. You are not going to get a whole lot out of promotions. Certainly not enough to make it worth it to pick a place where it costs twice as much to live.

If you play the powerball, you may have a 1 in 50m chance of winning, but at least you have a chance. To me, these promotions go into a kind of gray area because the occasional player obviously cannot win. But he can have his money raked off. They're robbing Peter to pay Paul it seems to me. This doesn't apply to normal rakeback promos where you get back $1 per hour or whatever, because that seems to be a fair way of distribution. But I think cardrooms are making a mistake with promotions that pay frequent players when a good deal of the funding appears to come from people who can't win. Better to do promotions that attract new players to the room IMO.

The Bravo Ap is your friend on this one IMO. Too bad you didn't ask in October and I could've led you to Michigan. Gun Lake Casino ... less than 3 months open ...

... $1 comps per hour, use on food, gifts, pit play
... 500 Player Tier Credit points per hour, 20K points gets you discounts on food, gifts, 200K points gets you bigger discounts (6 month carry over)
... $100 or $200 hourly High Hand promo on NL for over 100 hours per week
... $100 hourly High Hand promo on PLO for 'other' 40 hours per week
... 'November Nine' hourly promo .. top nine hourly Players get paid $1500 to $300 bonus
... NL BBJ is over $100K, Any quads lose ...

This room has had at least 1/2 PLO every day since it opened.

Although basically no hotels within 10 miles, you could probably find one for $150/week within 30 minutes both north and south. GL

I think you might have missed his point, and that of others. You're basically asking what the best promos in the country are, and his point is that no one is likely to know that, as people don't usually travel across the country on the basis of who has the best hourly promo when there are so many other more important factors involved in such a decision. As a result, most of your answers are going to be simply the best promos posters know of where they have experience - if you really want to find the best promos in the country, the suggestion of doing your own research on the Bravo app seems like your best bet.

******s.
I have no idea why you'd be angry. This is the Internet, where you're going to get a bit of hard time every now and then - the worst you've had in this thread is a couple of LC emoji posts, which is pretty mild. Others are pointing out that it's rather odd considering travelling anywhere in the country based on $1/hour promos when you have a limited bankroll - takes a lot of hours of that promo to make up for the travel costs alone, never mind what the cost of living might be, or what the games might be like. Your anger is very misplaced IMO.

Not that it would necessarily yield more satisfying results to you, but your question shouldn’t be “where are the best promos”. Instead you should have asked “where can a breakeven poker player get the highest net income, considering all cost associated”.

Contrary to your belief, you will have a hard time finding a short term studio rental for $500-1000/month in LA or the Bay Area unless you are willing to live in a ghetto and/or have a pretty long drive to the casino.

$2/hour in comps in Tunica/Mississippi might be worth more than $3/hour in a LA casino.

That said, I have a very hard time believing that you can make serious money through any kind of promotion when factoring cost for travel and short term apartment rental. IMO, the only way to make that work is winning money while playing and if you plan for that, you should look for soft games and not good promos.
