So my poker tracker annual renewal is coming up - the one I'm using now (poker analytics 5) has a $30 annual cost, not a one time purchase.

In the last year I not only played no poker, but they've also released only minor bugfixes, no new features, since last April. That's not exactly what I was expecting when paying an annual maintenance cost.

I was super happy with Poker Journal back in the day, but unfortunately that developer stopped maintaining it and it stopped working a few version of iOS ago.

What are people's thoughts about the best apps / best value in apps for poker trackers as of 2021?

Features I need:
* iOS
* cash game
* can filter and report by date (monthly, annually), and by game (type, size)
* can import from CSV/XML/poker analytics 5 - I have over a decade of history I don't want to lose

Features I personally don't need, but if it has them, great:
* Hand histories
* Player notes
* Tip trackers
* The ability to group sessions into trips, track expenses on trips, etc.
* Currency converters

Anyone have opinions?

I am currently using Poker Income Pro which is pretty good. I had been using RunGood for the past few years but similar to Poker Journal , i think the developer stopped maintaining it and hasn’t updated the app in over a year or 2. I loved RunGood, I think it has many features that you are looking for.

Poker Bankroll Tracker. I've been using the $9.99/year pro version for about a year but there's also a free version with less features. It's been updated as recently as three weeks ago.

I've also used Poker Income with like 7K hours on it (it has all the features OP is looking for, they give you a trial of 10 sessions then it's like 5 bucks, and if you want the extra filters it's another 5 bucks or so, just a one time fee) what I liked about it is they have a website that you can back up your files to, but for the past month I haven't been able to back it up. I've contacted them in the past both at their email and FB page and they were able to fix it, I'm gonna try that again.

Are you able to back up your data atm?

Yeah I have already done a backup into XML and CSV. (And since I haven't actually played, I have 10 additional backups over the last year too, heh.)

Having a website to back up to is OK, but I'd prefer it just back up to icloud. Don't have to worry about the vendor going out of business then.

I used both Poker Track Pro and Poker Income Pro. Poker Track Pro has more eye appeal. Poker Income Pro is less cartoonish but it has a useful filter function. I like them both for ease of use and they give me the cold harsh truth about my results. Currently I stick to Poker Income Pro.

I have been exporting my sessions via email actually, not through the website. I used to use a site called checkyour bets to track all my stats but the site finally shut down recently. Thankfully I was able to record my stats on RunGood as well which will allow me to save my sessions in a CSV file.

I checked the twitter for Poker income pro. Also can't sign in from the desktop. Is this still functional? I spent the $9.99 on the app but unable to import pokerdominator.com sessions. Is there an actual non-defunct tracker out there? What do pro's use? thx.

I'm in very active development of a live poker tracker that actually tracks every hand, provides hud, and exports to PT4 or HM3, for real serious analysis. It is a webapp that works on both IOS and Android. May look bad on low res smartphones, dont know.

Haven't focussed on bankroll tracking and csv import, but should be easy and will get on it this week.

Very interested in getting feedback, hope this is not seen as advertising. Really just looking for feedback.

any updates on this subject. I also have years of data on Poker Income that i dont have backed up other than via their backup - not export via csv. Nothing seems to work there now and im resigned to a manual update on new s/ware.

Why not just create your own csv file with google sheets? You can surely make it fancy enough to meet all of your needs.

sadly way beyond me. Data entry alone can be daunting for this mid fifties old man :-)

I don't understand the need for all this extra stuff. Win/Loss, hours and location are all that really matter.

A 15 yo Nissan gets you from A to B. Sometimes in life you want to step up to something faster, more comfortable and that has all the bells and whistles. ;-)

As a player who travels around the country I‘m looking for an app which provides different currencies. In Poker Income I noticed if I change the currency, it will change all my sessions, which I don‘t want.
Do I miss something? Or is there an app which provides my request?

I'm a dope.

I deleted some 'rooms' from Poker Income Pro (PIP) after upgrading my phone and starting to play again. I thought it would just delete them from the list of options when starting a new session. Instead it deleted all my sessions from them as well.

No, I didn't back anything up before doing this (see first line). I do have a backup from 2016 saved in my email.

I've already recorded the important info from the '2021 sessions'. I thought I would be able to restore, but PIP seems dead/unsupported.

Any ideas from the phone/computer people?
Any PIP experts?


I'll check out Poker Bankroll Tracker, and maybe it will just be for 2021 sessions and beyond.... Unsure if I can transfer the PIP data that I do have left at this point.

I downloaded Poker Bankroll Tracker, but the free version was useless, it can't import. I poked around on the demo, but it costs $15/year for the pro version and I was not yet really playing often, so I didn't pull the trigger. Basically I didn't find anything that I liked, so ended up doing nothing.

I started playing again quasi-regularly a couple months ago, and basically just didn't track anything. Then I went to Vegas and decided I would at least keep track of things so I could manually enter them later, so I created a simple-lish google sheet for it.

And that's where I am today. I've got my poker analytics backup through 2020 and a dozen manually tracked sessions from 2021 and I still don't have a new tracker app, and nothing out there looks good and is a reasonable one time purchase price.

I also downloaded PBT, and THEN noticed that I couldn't import for free.

I've got about a dozen sessions from this summer that I'll manually import... and I guess that's it moving forward unless I pay.

I'm not an expert but did you add back those rooms to see if the data was still stored in the app?

I do think you're right about the data still being stored. When I went to add the room, it still gave me the 'deleted' room options.

if you haven't heard of statking by conjelco check it out. Been using the old version for 10+ years and is perfect for manual tracking. Other than that another +1 for poker bankroll tracker.
