Hi everyone! Im on a trip around europe looking for great places to play poker combining cheap food and drink services, economic stay near the casino, smoke free environment and as soft games as possible. For example my last stop was vienna at the CCC casino. The city was beautiful and the games soft running 24h but there a few things that made the grind a bit hard. Lots of smoke, chairs not suitable for an 8hour stay plus you have to pay for your coffee or anything similar. If it happens that you ve come across poker rooms that fit into that category it would be most appreciated to share your experiences!

must: kings casino rozvadov (cheap rooms and food, not too far from the gorgeous city prag)
very good: spielbank stuttgard and spielbank wiesbaden (beautiful cities, not cheap)
good: ccc salzburg (beautiful city, not cheap)
softncrazy plo games in the austrian mountains (only certain days, small locations): ccc kufstein and big apple st. johann im pongau (in the heart of austrian ski / hiking areas, not cheap but cheaper than the big cities)

..... dont really understand your priorities, I would choose casinos only by the amount and softness of games running, and rake ofc ........... the choice in europe is not big enough to be that picky ...... and travelling western europe youd be a fool to only go to cheap places (still you will find hostels / motels / private rooms for good prices everywhere, if you know to use the net)

I played Poker in Amsterdam..it's basically like USA/Canada. There's so many tourists and the locals don't really play much. There's some exceptions of course. But why travel and play with the same people you always play with back home? Plus the rake is high and you have to pay for drinks.

I think a lot of big cities in Western European cities are similar. You will bump into a lot of American tourists.

I went to Warsaw..for some reason poker is illegal in Poland. You can buy Vodka in a toy store but Poker is illegal! Go figure.

Spielbank stuttgart and kings rozvadov both have extremely high rake. You can celebrate the cheap food e.g. at Kings, but you're paying for it in other ways...

There’s a gazillion of regs at Rozvadov right now, the WSOPE is there for another couple weeks.

there are regs in basically every cardroom, even the smaller ones .............. its all about choosing the right days...

.... and most importantly being able to get up when the fishes leave and you end up with mostly regs on the table, however up or stuck you are!!!

Also reg doesnt actually need to mean that they are good or even winning players. Many live game regs are weaker players that play totally predictable, esp (but not only) at lower limits

might be right, but if you end up with several local regs on the table, they will often go soft on each other and you find yourself vs multiple callers having problems to realize your equity.....

.... in the worst case they might sign each other important holdings, which is especially a problem in plo, where card removal plays a big role

Could anyone recommend or not a casino in Berlin/Prague? Is there anything higher than 2/2 running daily? Is rake beatable?
