Local casino is doing away with BBJ once it hits again and it's mostly because of feedback from the regs that they were tired of paying into a fund that they had nearly zero shot of winning and then the money leaving the room for good.
I applaud management for listening to them.
i know this is about Rivers, im a reg there too...but i thought the reason is because the new poker room manager came from somewhere that didnt have a BBJ, and he thinks its unnecessary/bad for the room etc, not because anything the regulars have said. 2 other points:
1- id say its about 50/50ish in having heard what players think about getting rid of the BBJ, maybe a few more want it to stay rather than go.
2- the high hands ABSOLUTELY make the play more dry (i.e. when the flop is qq2, if theres a decent high hand payout that hour, the flop goes check check check a TON bc whoever has the queen wants to see if the 4th one comes, rather than a bet and win without qualifying)
