In general most casinos don't allow phone recordings for a lot of reasons. The main one probably is that people might get exposed for being in the casino.

If you believe there is collusion or cheating going on it is critical to tell the Floor Manager and/or the room manager. I have seen collusion handled in extremely protective ways where couples are not allowed to play with each other at the same table. Soft collusion though (where players check it down HU) likely won't get handled.

If you want to know your legal rights it would likely be the gaming commission that could tell you. In casinos that are run on Native American land, state and federal laws typically don't apply. In all likelihood they were allowed to ban you for your behavior.

Personally I think you are lucky to get banned for just 90 days. I would have expected either a one year or lifetime ban.

One consent laws do not apply to video recording inside a casino, which is not usually allowed

OK law does not apply to land within the Chicksaw nation.

Been a few years, but Winstar used to be my home casino, and I never found their floor men or room managers to be anything but friendly and professional (Will would occasionally have to bring out their big book of rules to resolve some of my questions)

And the Lighthorse is not any sort of mall cops, they are 100% legit tribal police, and generally not to be messed with

I doubt very highly that they banned you because you "dared to record what was happening".

What was happening? There's two sides to every story. What'd ya do? They don't just ban people for recording video, they ask you to kindly stop and walk away.

Whatever you did it sounds like they gave you a gift by only banning you for 3 months. That's a slap on the wrist.

And those "mall cops with the shiny little guns" are there to take a bullet for you if something breaks out in the poker room. If you slow roll someone and they pull out a gun on you you're gonna be crying to mommy for those "mall cops".

usually, undercover and a player who acts as a bouncer and armed security. He gets free buy ins out of the rake, capped of course. Ex-boxer and a genuine bad ass. You would never know just looking at him. The regulars know not to mess around but every once in a while, he has to throw some drunk, obnoxious frat boy out. kind of rare because trust fund babies are good for the game.

I think most are going to accept that any business within the United States, tribal or otherwise, has a right to kick people off their property as long as they are not discriminating illegally. If they are doing it for the wrong reasons, it's probably going to hurt their business.

the tribal casinos here also are their own gaming commission on the reservation. So you can complain to the gaming commission about casino improper actions, they will investigate themselves then clear each other of wrongdoing. Good luck.

Gaming Commissions sometimes work.

In CT at Mohegan Sun they didn't when the poker room gave one table 20,000 chips each person and the rest of us got 15,000. The gaming commission (which I talked to) ruled to play on with no corrections!

However at Foxwoods the gaming commission ruled that players could not choose what table they wanted to sit at when rebuying into a tournament. So at least a little success...
