I'm curious which part of this you find skeptical: That there might be a casino rep on 2+2 or that there might be a Grosvenor rep specifically. There are a number of reps here.

Casinos can Trespass and/or Ban anyone they want for any reason.
There is no appeal process nor higher authority.

I guess you could file a civil suit against them. Please let us know how that turns out (hint you wont get far)

Its good you turned your life around. I'd just move on from this poker room if I were you.

You are banned because you pose a liability for the casino. You were gaming there during the time you were profiting from criminal activity, with illegal funds. They do not want to expose themselves to potential money laundering. While I don't know any entrepreneurs in the pirating business, I can only assume you didn't pirate and sell just a single movie.

you don't get sentenced to prison for 4 years after making a boot leg copy of a movie and selling a few copies... you should be banned from every casino on earth for what ever it is you really did (those types of petty crimes don't even get reported by the media).

So the casino is a social club, and not a public place? So any regular person is unable to walk in off the street and play poker?

If so, a regular casino open to the public may or may not ban somebody in your position but a social club would be dumb not to. You are notorious in your area so you defame the club by being a member.

OP I think you are being banned because of the nature of your crime. You filmed something you weren't supposed to film and then you posted it online.

No casino would want to knowingly take the risk of you filming anything in their casino and then posting it online.

If you really want to play cards in a casino again my guess is that you will have to try another country. I have no idea how interconnected security is today across country lines. I know it is fairly interconnected within the US.

From your post you sound like someone who made a bad mistake and learned from it. I hope that is true. I wish you luck.
