LOL. when you discuss matters like that with the floor, you lean back in your chair and speak softly. You don't announce the action to the entire table.

So in my wasted observations and thoughts at the table I've seen many a time where there's always one 'seat' at the table you just can't seem to beat, doesn't matter what Player is in that seat, you just can't beat that seat. I call it 'Seat-ology' and I've seen it plenty.

Not really a comment for this thread, but when you have a spot like this one where you kick a whale out and a Reg gets made .. maybe you actually saved him money, not cost him money (based on Seatology). GL

Meh.. if someone’s getting physically assaulted, molested, and or groped I think it’s fine to make a scene when immediate intervention is necessary.

I see what you’re saying there are protocols. But then again most dealers don’t follow protocols anyway.

Back in high school home games, one of the guys we played with, let's call him George, told another player, Norm, that he had recently been cheating by dealing off the bottom of the deck to spike his own hands. George asked Norm if he wanted in on the action, and Norm agreed.

However, Norm told me and the other regular players about this and shared all the IM chat logs of George discussing his past cheating and their plan for working "together". We were a little suspicious of George before this, but now we had hard proof.

We decided that the next time we played, we would wait until a big setup hand from George's deal, then call him out on it. (Everyone except George at the table was in on the sting operation) We all acted shocked about the hand and kept asking him if he was cheating.

After several denials from George that he did anything wrong, we hit him with a printout of his IM exchange with Norm that we had stashed nearby.

The final swoop was something like "Are you sure you haven't been cheating?" "Yes." then I just tossed the pages in front of him and we all watched him read it.

Obviously we had him dead to rights at this point and he came clean... we shamed him for a while, eventually settled down and figured out some sort of reimbursement to most of the players who had been cheated.

We got over it and still played with George after that, wasn't a bad guy overall, but it was pretty exciting / satisfying to catch him in the act and get a little payback.

We were suburban high school kids playing for $50 buyins and mostly among friends, not about to beat someone over it... but certainly there are home games where that would have a much unhappier ending.
