HiI have been out of the loop with tournament poker . I usually play max 500 buy in high gsurantee live tournaments , although I haven’t been profitable I just love it. I doubt any high guarantee poker tournaments going on but taking a chance anything live going on in the US?
I am willing to travel to play even online? Any reccomedations? I can fly any where in the US or even out of the Us if cost of living is cheap enough . Not looking for a long stay . Looking for huge fields. I know acr has stuff going on but I never felt comfortable with the site . Idk if any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated
Ty

Poker bro’s app has some good value events... you would be a high roller at the $500 price point. The $50 and $100 events probably have similar prize pools to what you’re seeing at a live $500 buy in.

Live everything is pretty much shut down right now

This intrigues me. How can you substantiate poker travel out of the USA as "essential"?

I can suggest some good online poker sites like BoL Poker, Bovada Poker, Ignition Poker where they offer tournament action 24/7. You can play Multi-Table Tournaments or Sit-and-Gos as you like and win a bonus prize of at least $1,000.

mod: just as a pre-emptive warning, this is not the Internet poker forum, and more specifically, we will not tolerate any referral shilling.

The OP did ask about internet tournaments so I'm going to leave the above post here, and if you want to recommend other internet tournament sites with a very light touch I'll allow it for the time being, but no links permitted, and please try to focus on live venues if possible. And again, no referral links or PM solicitations or anything like that.

thanks.

I don't know what is good landed tournament to play. But if you are looking for online tournaments then I can give you few suggestions / advices. The popular poker tournament I would say is definitely pokerstar because it has the largest poker communities and it has comprehensive poker games and systems for players to enjoy.

If you are looking for tournament in other countries such as Malaysia and Singapore. Then I suggest you can checkout local online casino such as god56, acewin or me88. These are the common casino that conduct poker tournament from time to time. Among these, I would say me88 is the best place for me since it has better payout rate compare to other tournament in local casino.

If you are looking for landed casino poker tournament. Then I suggest you to visit Genting in Malaysia or Singapore. They have excellent and comfort environment to play!

In the end, it depend on what you prioritize for....payout rates? environment? safety?

Who cares who thinks something is essential? People have the ability to take risks if they want.

For me personally I've had covid, my cohort has 0 recorded deaths, and I like poker, so why wouldn't I travel? I'm not gonna go hang out with geriatrics right when i get back.
