Agua Caliente, Rancho Mirage poker room, how many tables? Agua Caliente, Rancho Mirage poker room, how many tables?

Will be in Palm Springs over the weekend and out of the 4 close casinos Agua in Rancho Mirage seems like the only one advertising a poker room. For Friday and Saturday evening, how many tables and what is spread there? Their website isn't very helpful other than they have a lot of promotions. I really don't want to drive back up to Morongo. AC is just a few miles from the hotel I am at.

They're on Bravo.

I think you'll find small nl games always running, small limit games always running, and fairly often a table of big o or plo running, probably running on a weekend. If your expectations aren't too high, you'll be happy enough playing there.

I think they have 10-12 tables, usually gets going on weekends. Check Bravo. Havent been there in a few years, but even weekdays, they had some limit and 1-3 always going. Depending on where you are staying, Morongo is bigger and not too far a drive out of town(I think 20-30 minutes).

Thanks for the info. Played 6 hours last night. There were a few 1/3, a 5 card PLO and a 2/5 must move so one short table and one full.

They had a high hand, both hole cards had to play. $100 for high and $50 for second every hour. PLO had high for 1 place only.

The game was all locals except for me as far as I could tell. Buy in for 300 but the max was 1k. I floated from plus 300 to minus 60 until the last 2 hours. Got stacked on a busted flush draw, rebuy at 400 and finished up 940. Play after 11 or so really opened up and there were some wild pots. I left around 1am. Only notable hand was my last, 9/10 hearts. Flopped an open straight and flush. Hit the straight on the turn and flush on the river taking down the strongest player at the table. The same guy that stacked me earlier.

I was mostly card dead for premium hands. Had a few pocket pairs that didn't hold up to heat.

I do have a question though. Dealers were a little sloppy at times. At one point the player on my right pushed my cards to me. They were dealt mostly in front of him. I would never do something like that. Thoughts on touching someone else's cards right after the deal? I didn't have a chance to reach out to get them. That's how fast it happened.

If your cards are dealt in front of me, I'm pretty much always pushing them towards you. Because I'm pushing them out of my way. How is me just touching your cards a problem? If the guy picked them up to move them over, maybe an issue, as he could easily be flashing them as he does so. But pushing them over? Don't see how that's ever a problem.

In Vegas this weekend playing cash, SB pushed her cards and mine in while sliding the $1 SB to me. While I appreciate streamlining the process, I didn't actually see my hand!

And this hurts you how? I guess if you were playing the 7-2 game but how often does that happen in a LV Casino 1-2 game?

I don't have a problem with it. It was just I didn't even have a chance to square them up which startled me. But I would never do that. I would just ask the player to square his cards.

How can I bitch about only getting AA when folded to in the BB if I don't know I have AA? Or do the Big Reveal (tm) for the table? Everyone always loves that, right?

Perhaps, more importantly, what if the SB missed action, and mucked my hand with hers by mistake?

Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage is a great room for 1/3 and 2/5 NL. While mostly locals, the games are action. When in town I usually play on weekends. They have some very good dealers. Great floor staff.

Would much rather play there than Morongo
