Someone asked for the song lyrics in the 2013 thread. Here you go!

That's poker

Bad Beats

I wake up with Pocket Kings, they put me on the streets

That player

He always calls

The flop comes AK7

My set has got some balls, baby

ALL IN, ALL IN again

Player turns up Aces

Not a big deal but I've never understood why a new thread is needed for each year? It's not like there are separate "seasons" of LATB.

I'm working on a special game that will be longer than usual (maybe 5+ hours) and pre-recorded to use as a testing platform for delayed voice-over commentary.

Please send me an email at liveatthebike@pokernetcast.com, if you are interested in playing a $10/25 No Limit Hold'em or NLH/PLO mixed game and can travel to The Bicycle Casino in either late January or February 2014.

I don't check this thread very often (sorry) so please email me.

Thanks!

Lizette

Hope they have another $25/$50 game when LAPC comes to town. That was a great lineup

Is this a needle?

No, MarieLizette. The theme song is very catchy, is the full song available anywhere?

No, not that I'm aware of. It was just something done on a whim by a friend of the show.

Tony is a very nice man and a friend of the show that I can depend on when it comes to spreading the bigger games. He enjoys playing on the show because 1) he loves to play poker and see flops, and 2) he likes to listen to the commentators critiques of his play. Trust me, it's not easy to listen to someone pick apart your game, but Tony takes it in stride.

Sorry you feel that way, but the players enjoy playing in the game and it's a nice break from the more serious deeper games. The game is a very popular game among Bicycle Casino players, so we must continue to spread once or twice a month for the benefit of our sponsor and it's smaller stakes players who see the game as recreational entertainment.

Please feel free to enjoy the larger games as educational/game theory shows.

Shenanigans... That's all we have to say about last night's show. If you missed it, the replay will be available for free all weekend long at www.liveatthebike.com.

Yes, that's Limon with Bart Hanson & Owais Ahmed

I played on tonight's show (seat 9 most of the night and then moved to seat 6 towards the end). I'm the one who tank-folded 88 on the river against what I now know was a 9 hi bluff. Was extraordinarily close to calling river that hand but ultimately folded based on the fact that villain hadn't visibly gotten out-of-line all night and had been pretty conservative up until that point. I had been prepared to snap call any normal sized river bet but the overbet ($240 into $185, I think) made me re-evaluate. Oh well!

Table was a lot of fun and I'm very grateful for the opportunity to have been on the show.
