I know the owner of the company, its a startup so please be patient for a response but so far everything that he does seems to be very efficient. Sounds like a good investment if your coming to Vegas for a tournament, much better than staying at a fleabag motel or an overpriced suite for most players.

Isn't the Gold Coast right across the Rio's parking lot? I checked their web site and a seven night stay was about $575. Anyone have any experience with the Gold Coast?

Used to stay there often in the 80's before the Gold Coast Open moved to the Orleans. Still know the Bell Captain there so ocassionally I will spend one night there. Their rooms are normal but small, clean but not extravagant. By the way, that short walk to the Rio is a lot longer than it looks.

Every walk in Vegas is farther then it looks.

But the reality is what maybe 10-15 minutes?

Listen, the reality is that the Gold Coast is right next door. It will take you 6 minutes door to door to get to the Rio from there. To make a statement saying tha that the Gold Coast is further than it looks is not really accurate in this case. If you are plahing in the WSOP and want to stay at the Gold Coast you are not so far away as to make it burdensome. The Gold Coast is the closest casino to the Rio and it is not far at all. It shouldn't be an inconvenience to stay there and walk over to the Rio at all.

Hi.

Me and a couple of friends have been thinking about renting a house through www.moviehousevacationrental.com.

Does anyone here have experience renting through this company? Their houses looks really good, and so does the prices.

Or could you recommend another place to rent through?

Any feedback is appriciated.

The two times I stayed at Gold Coast, the rooms were good enough. Nothing special but certainly comfortable. Don't expect much in the way of amenities.

I've always enjoyed this Vegas hotel review site:

Hi,

We are four scandi-donks looking for a place to stay during the course of 3 weeks around the ME.
* Max 1 block off strip or closer.
* Internet access
* 2 bedrooms
I looked at the Platinum, but their big suite is like 750$/Day, which is probably abit too much.
Are there any alternatives like platinum or apartments close to or on the strip?

Thanks.

Never stayed there myself, but www.desertrose.com has excellent reviews on www.tripadvisor.com

Book via Orbitz for a 30% discount, add coupon code sevendaysale2, on checkout, you will get 2 beds, kitchen, sofa/sleeper, pool, laundry etc etc for $210/night approx

Rooms are selling out quickly, apparently.

Once again I HAVE NEVER STAYED THERE but the reviews look very good.

If this doesnt float your boat, try Signature, booking direct (or via craigslist for a discount), a 2 bed suite might be about $300/night.

Better deals on Signature by renting direct from the owner. Try vrbo.com
