As to the Etiquette aspect of the OP , likely in a larger , busy room with a whole lot of quick table turnover normally , only a few will notice and only a few will care how you operate a short stack style.

In a reg heavy small room or a underground game you might get much more negative responses to hit and run moves.

In a big room with lots of 1/2 nl you really won't have a problem
In a small room everyone will hate you within a few weeks and most importantly the donks will hate you

The strategy is based on finding good spots to double up and immediately switch tables to buy in for the minimum again. 3rd table in 30 minutes was an exaggeration, but on average you should double up ~50% of the hands you play which means you table switch extremely frequently.

(Good) short stackers are very annoying because you can’t beat them if you try to maximize your EV while playing a 100BB+ strategy, therefore most online poker rooms banned them many years ago.
