before poker ive like play something game like CS.

if i install some game, thats i like, its can take a lot of my interest.

Sorry for my english, its hard to write for me.

i want ask you, as you thinking that will be right:

delete all games and concentrate on poker, work about time to play, and fight with my the wish to play something else.

or

install a games, and try do not "lose my head" and also try play poker more times then other games.

i dont know, a games is my drugs or its can help got relax from poker, thats help play more if i learn control my game's time.

Sometimes i got negative exp from poker. Im nice control my tilt but to a future, then i slightly tired i feel that i will play in something more fun.

i dont know, the wish to play something else is my "feel that's will be right for me" or it is vote of my weakness.

I avoid all games beside poker tbh. But if you're recreational, doesn't much matter, unless you're aspiring to be pro, etc. StarCraft, etc. can be good warm up tools, but they are also time vampires for vegetative personalities like ours.

Hey Phil, I'm an avid poker player and video gamer. Sometimes we need a break from poker, just like other things in life. For me, video games are a nice outlet. I've been a gamer since Perfect Dark for the N64.

Even if you dedicate yourself full time to poker, your gonna need a break. Changing mediums that simulate you is healthy. Personally, after an online or live session, nothing beats smoking a joint and playing Bloodborne. It's a fine way to decompress.

Life is just a collection of experiences we have before we die. Enjoy them.

May be you right, but now im delete games, because ill concentrate on poker, and try do another things for relax like "go walking"

Games is very good for mind like "another action (sorry for my eng)", but if my games is installed, ill play more then i need for relax (time vampires).

I think, if i rly will need more relax, ill take our from poker (sorry for eng if i write wrong) for a day and play another games.

maybe I just do not have enough control over myself

I read poker books/watch poker videos before I waste time playing video games.

It seems as though you and I share the same issues. I just can't have the games installed on my computer. I get so wrapped up into them and poker just falls to the wayside. What works for me is I can only play video games that aren't competitive. My obsession with video games is the need to be the best when I play which, as every one knows, takes over a life if that's the real goal. SOOO I play pokemon on gameboy advance. Or mario. Maybe try to switch over to games like this so you can have those as your leisure time away from poker. It works for me!
