Tonight i got 5 mins into my cardio and i didn't feel like walking any longer. i could of walked back home but i decided to walk the hour. so i did and completed the walk.

Now with poker i gotta sit down and read my book on omaha. I need to learn how to play omaha. I got a couple of mins in and didnt feel like reading any longer.

I think i should read my book on omaha tonight for a few hours.

does anyone else have the same issues with studying poker?

Your brain is like your body it feels bad when you train/study but it gets better over time with patience and constant work.

I have the opposite problem you do. Poker is a game to me. It's something I do for fun. I play when I want to play. I study when I want to study. When I don't feel like playing or studying I go spend time with my daughter or watch TV or go to a concert.

Read on the treadmill man. I do it. It makes the time pass faster.

I have had my poker studies and play, and what is left is the grind, but waiting for the right time. Better opportunities later this year and next year for a start. I had no problem to learn to play plo, nlh, mtts, and getting in the play to get practically good also, all that was with motivation that produces energy, but that's gone.

What I have now is recovery from play (I have played less for longer time already but I am starting to get pumped up already) and study, just getting somewhat motivated of poker videos (Youtube, maybe a training site), having just one PLO book I still sometimes look into but only a little and rarely.

Waiting for better gaming opportunities in fall and later, getting up to tons of videos watched (that I for the first time have motivation to do, having studied the books and played and semi-recovered, and I have watched quite many of the videos already, so am not actually doing like nothing at this time) and when I have got all that video preparation also done, more rest/recovery, much outdoors during the summer half, then, after those, I am ready again to play.
