I play 7 card stud and dabble in sitngos 6 to 9 hours mostly days form 2pm to 12a, 4 to 5 times a week. About 4 months ago I noticed my win rate goes up significantly between 2am and 6am. I tried a couple weeks ago to to start scheduling my life to being able to play at these times. I don't have very many commitments. I get my 4 year old daughter from Fri night to Sun evening every other weekend. Plus i usually take time about 5pm to pick her up from school (2hrs away) and hang out at least 2 or 3 times a week. Other then that my i'm free. My girlfriend plays micro stakes online and has no beef with me doing what i need to do to make moneys playing.

Whats a good way to acclimate myself to night sessions? I found i couldn't sleep well during the day. I live in an apartment and everyday noises makes sleep intermittent at best. Id appreciate some input from people who play at these hrs. What schedule has worked best? And how do you take time off for family or daytime responsibilities with out being tired for your sessions? Thanks in advance.

Duh. That's an obligation i always keep. I'm asking how to acclimate myself to night sessions and how people who do work,or play poker at night schedule daytime events as to stay fresh for work/poker.

I play pro and could make much more money if i played at antisocial hours.

However i want a life so i make a lower win rate (playing in the toughest hours) because being a pro poker player is about freedom and lifestyle above money imo.

think about it

EDIT: i am not playing at the time i made this post lol. just surfing the web b4 bed. i normally play noon - 6pm GMT weekdays only.

"toughest hours"? The best players play during the "anti-social" hours because there are so many games going, and so many casual players playing.

he said GMT... I'm aware it's not 10:38PM everywhere else in the world right now LOL, but thanks for the pro tip.

My point was more that when there are more fish online (during peak hours on any poker site) there are more professional players online as well... so I just don't see how anyone could define "toughest hours."
