It it really a win for the day? It it really a win for the day?

Interesting situation tonight.

I was essentially B game most of the night, occasional C game. I made 2 loose calls where I ended up drawing out the villain, which helped the win rate for the night. If I exclude those two hands I'm still well in the red for the night, but do I really consider it a win because I know I wasn't playing A/B game all night?

For comparison, last night at $1/2, playing well, bought in for $200 cashed out with $1425 five hours later. Tonight at $1/2, bought in for $200 3x and cashed out with $1200, netting $600 over 5 hours.

Both nights winning, one quite different than the other.

Interested in thoughts.

If both are not wins, you have to keep two sets of books.

One for what actually happens each session.

Another for when you get sucked out on by Villians, or suck out on them.

What would your criteria be for what constitutes an official suck-out?

[ ] four outer
[ ] three
[ ] two
[ ] one
[ ] runner runner straight, flush or quads over your flopped top set
[ ] other

Max Holloway is right.

"It is what it is".

Within the last year, I have changed how I view sessions and it has helped immensely. I rate my level of play on a scale of 1-10.

Additionally, why even focus on things like "my ev would be this if x hand didn't occur"?
The hand did occur. Furthermore, a sample of fewer than 1000s or hundreds of thousands of hands is pure luck anyway.

My suggestion is to treat daily sessions as drops in a bucket and stop hyper-focusing on results in the short-term
