I have a very hard time believing any of this story is true, simply because the swings involved are so ridiculous.

One of the biggest fish at Ceasar's IN, sat in the PLO with a grand and alledgedly cashed out $35,000. It will all return to the poker economy eventually, excepting the highly unlikely event that he quits poker forever.

You may e correct and the OP is BS but the swings are possible.

Very simple rule for people with bad money mangement skills: Never put more than 5% of your roll on a table. As your roll shrinks during a session, stop rebuying and move down immediately once you hit that threshold.

I don't think anyone is shocked by this at all.

I'm very glad I won't have to deal with you playing heads up at every table 5/10-30/60 on Stars ALL THE FREAKING TIME.

I suspect that this will be just a moment of severe disappointment in a lengthy side--or full-- career for you. FEW PEOPLE have any maturity or stability in the testosterone crazed years between 18 and 21. Those hands and history may well lay a foundation for a great player in the years to come. There's no reason not to be more optimistic at your age. Buck up my brother!

Sorry to hear your story. But the hard learned lessons are the best. I have been through the same thing, although never got to 100/200.

Bankroll Management, its like one of those things that you never get taught at school, but leads so many players to busting.

Good luck to you in your adventures. If you do return, take it easy, take the time to do it right. If it goes wrong it hurts a lot less.

If anyone has read HIV's posts in BBV, he is a cocky douchebag with no BR management skills. Honestly, who didn't see this coming.

I think pretty much everyone who knows of HIV saw this coming. Some evidence.

lol. the common trend here is your failure at 100/200. Y CAN'T YOU STICK WITH 30/60?!?! failure IS an option for some i suppose.

You sound like a stand up guy in a tough spot and I'm wondering if you'd be interested in a backer?
lol let's see if he's serious
I'll provide the bankroll and it's 50/50 on your profit for two months, then you can go your own way. Reply or PM if interested.

There are some days I wish I had discovered poker before I had a wife and kids and full-time job and mortgage, etc. so I could play a lot more.

And then there are days like today, when I'm quite glad I didn't discover poker until my mid-30's - just plodding along at $2/$4 with my 600 BB bankroll...
