Low concentration is one of my biggest leak.In reg wars(I am husng player)I have problem playing vs players that dont have theoretical knowledge as I have but can withstand long sessions without reducing quality of their game.
Books "MGoP" ,"MGoP 2" and "deep work" helped me a lot but I still think I need to elevate my concentration more.
Any suggestion on books,articles,videos,etc..

Assuming you have good theoretical knowledge you should be able to easily spot many leaks in players playing a much different style. Focus on exploiting where you think they are going wrong and how to go about that.

Playing through bad periods of concentration seems like a worthy challenge, but it may just reinforce the behavior. I'd aim to shorten the session length and pursue less important challenges that require concentration to build upon (reading a book, building a model airplane, etc.).

Meditation is more like wandering aimlessly through a forest than seeking a fix, but that can help too.

This sentence proves this person has no idea the potential benefits of meditation, its EXTREMELY important, and people dont like to think so, just because its counter-intuitive and uncomfortable at first, but you can actually transcend your ego, and just be. It feels amazing and you feel fully in touch with reality without worry about past or future, and having this ability helps in all areas of life, similar to diet/workout.

All Buddhist training aims to develop concentration.

Try this: Close your eyes and focus on what you see. Then, when your mind wonders, bring it back.

This is direct meditation. You simply choose something to concentrate on, and then when your mind wonders, you bring it back. You can concentrate on whatever you like. Many people stare at a flame. Many focus on their breathing. Buddha said that a great one is to concentrate on the air as is passes below the nostrils when breathing.

According to Buddhist texts, every single time you attempt direct meditation your concentration skill improves.

The idea of meditation is to limit the functions of the mind. But you get better at concentration by concentrating at anything, and as far as I am concerned, I focus on playing (most fit as it is for playing), and I don't find it an issue (if one is not having a psychological problem; then it is an issue for practise also, but the fact remains the same, or there are medications then, like the cocoa butter ).

I am currently training my powers back to play longer and more, plus training my body (to get more energy). I am pretty happy to my focus level, it taking place well and is strong enough; I got that by normal mental work, not by at the same time limiting my mind functions, that's not really good for the gaming mind, that one might like to have more, not less.

Meditation hands down. I've done a 10 day retreat where all I did was focus on my breath or body sensations for 10+ hours a day.

Trust me when you can do that you can focus on anything for VERY long periods of time.

But realistically start with 15-20 minutes twice a day.

I agree that a meditation practice has helped me.

Simple trick I also use - cellphone goes in pocket and doesn't come out while I am at the table.
