like everyone else is saying, money talks
poker is a zero sum game, none of us are creating anything or contributing anything meaningful to the world
but poker is deeply complex, mathematical, psychological, and beautiful. it is a worthwhile endeavor, it is a game that is worthy of dedicating yourself to. there is nothing like it, and all of us are lucky we found this game no matter how hard it can be sometimes

Another operational definition of "Lucky" is when we are getting paid for being reasonably competent at something challenging that we thoroughly enjoy doing.
