Hi,
I am a winning MTT player over several years. However I am addicted to gambling. I play only on ggpoker where i have blocked casino. My day starts good, I register to some MTT's and grind, then if i bust from MTT's I want to win it all back and go to All in or fold (AIOF) table and gamble until i loose even more. How can I stop myself from playing other games except MTT?
I used to play on pokerstars where you can block everything except MTT, however after moving to GG (my country got blocked on PS) I am unable to control it and I dont think I can win over time anymore cause I get tempted to gamble too much on AIOF.

Do you think anyone can help me to only play MTT's? If I only play a little AIOF it wouldnt be big problem, but always I am tempted and it is just 1 click away I dont have time to even think before I have lost plenty money.

Any tips are welcomed

Gambling addiction seems really hardcore. Without a treatment plan (therapy, support group, maybe meds) I think you have to avoid all forms of poker and gambling.

Do you think any treatment can help me not play AIOF? Cause I went to treatment and they wont help me unless I stop gambling completely.
I just need abit better control, if I loose control occasionally (like once a week) and play some AIOF no big problem

I'm pretty sure that nobody on here is going to be able to help you, except to continue to suggest that you need help. All addictions are hard to stop on your own, and I've heard that gambling addiction is probably the most difficult. You know what you have to do - which is stop playing AIOF. All anyone on here can tell you is stop playing AIOF. And you already know that, and still you play them. This isn't your fault - it is just how addiction works.

I know you don't want to give up the MTTs. I know that would be hard. But I'm pretty sure that you will discover that there a whole lot of people out there who have lost everything they own because they just couldn't give up one form of gambling, even though they knew it led to another form of gambling. Don't be one of them - get some help. I think you will be thankful that you did.

Self ban

Guys do you think they will ban me if I write a program that blocks everything except MTT for me? It will be like an transparent window that always sits on top of the GG window. Is this illegal? Can they detect it?
