Learn poker strategy and math. That way you will have constructive thoughts while playing poker, or in other words, more reason to be reasonable. Best wishes, Tuma.

Write out specific financial goals and obsess over them. You need to reprogram into your brain the specific objective in playing. Bits of that code just now are 'proving you're a good player.'

Thank you both

YOu mean i shuld make myself some Goals small Goals to achieve them step by step that i can see my evolution of my play ?

Stretgy and math is also an good idea

Yesterday again playing and from one second to another the brain switches off.

You need to reprogram into your brain the specific objective in playing.

THANKS

Hi 13831383;53241273:

I'm not a believer in goals and I don't see successful people who are goal setters. What happens is that they find something they like and work hard at it because it's fun and not work for them (even thopugh tey're working hard at it), and that's how they get good. In Post #2 above Tuma says to "Learn poker strategy and math," and I think this is the right approach. But if you don't enjoy doing this, it will be unlikely, in my opinion, that you'll be able to do this successfully and thus won't be successful at poker. So this will be a decision only you can make.

Best wishes,
Mason

I would agree with many other in this post and say learn strategy. Also, I think you should play tournaments and set goals if you're thinking about the big money. KInd of hard to play high stakes without strategy.
