haha, I didn't even realize the AA part being that it's a poker forum. And thanks for the kind words.
I'd suggest calling the nearest AA Intergroup office, and asking to speak with someone there. Regional AA Intergroup offices can be helpful in a number of ways - for example, by sending someone over to pick you up for a coffee chat, or to take you to your first meeting. Seek out other male AA members that you will feel comfortable confiding in. Then be completely honest with them. Believe me, they've heard it and lived it all before. Don't prejudge AA. They are praised by some, and maligned by others. And it doesn't work for everyone. Nothing does. But give it a little time & effort, and hopefully it will work for you. GL.
