Would This Get My Account Closed? Would This Get My Account Closed?

I had a nice MTT finish last week and have been meaning to withdraw a chunk. I had planned to leave a couple hundred in to play with. Yesterday I got an email offer to buy 120 SC for $90. I don't know if it's repeatable (I'll assume not), but I would plan to try.

Would Global frown on me cashing out & replenishing my account with their discounted offer? At the least, it's a found $30.

I can't imagine that it would be a problem, but if you have a concern about it why don't you just act in a different order. Buy the gold coins and get the extra SC. Then play for a couple of days and then redeem the amount you want to redeem.

I thought of that but wasn't sure it would "seem" better. Then it's like I'm cashing out the $120 I bought for $90.

Maybe I am overreacting to the many "My account got closed by Global" threads I have read over the years. The common thread is they were determined to have bargained in bad faith. They didn't necessarily violate any written directives.

But I am one of those people who opens a new checking account for the $325 bonus, or credit card for $200, or buys $75 worth of household goods from Amazon for $50. It is HARD for me to pass on that $30.

You have to play through the roll over requirements on the new bought sc before you'd be able to withdraw it. Unless it's changed and I'm not aware.

Yes. I would plan to do that.

I suppose I am being paranoid (again, due to the many closed account stories).

You should be fine as long as you are following globals TOS. Good luck.
