Why does Global crash randomly? Why does Global crash randomly?

When I'm AFK and jump back into games, the client will shut down after a few minutes and I believe this is a good security feature, and would be great if players were informed about it.

However, it happens randomly too. Every few days my poker tables will abruptly close and I have to reload the client. Then, and only if I remembered the table names I was on, will I be able to get back into my games, which I often can't.

Given there is no disconnect protection..... what the **** is going on? Is this happening to anyone else?

Note: It happened 5 minutes ago while I was two-tabling. In the past when I've emailed about reimbursements, I was asked for hand details and the amount I'm owed: which is also beyond ridiculous. Help?

ETA - PLEASE ADD DISCONNECT PROTECT. SMALL TIMEBANK + NO PROTECTION MAKES GLOBAL A RISKY PLACE TO PLAY POKER.

It happens with you have aces in 4-bet pots. That is how they programmed their algorithm. :-)

"Your table has been closed, sorry for the inconvenience" is a bug I have started getting the last few days. I think the entire table shuts down as it is no longer in the lobby after. I have been lucky enough not to be involved in any big hands at the time and my balance was correct.

Ha, ACR "Sorry, we are experiencing our 69th DDNS attack of the day, we will be closing all MTT's, refunding your B/I's, even though our ring games are just fine, sorry for the inconvenience"

OP: FWIW, I've never experienced a "crash" on GP, just lag which has not happened in quite some time. Maybe look into your browser, clear your cache, etc. I'm all for the disco protect though.
