I just won a ticket in the Saturday Swish 12 seat mtt and even though the Saturday Swish is still late registering it entered me into tonights 5k which I wasn't planning on playing tonight. The same thing happened Thursday when I won a ticket in the Thursday Throttle it entered me into the Tuesday Tussle instead.

Same exact thing for me, for both tournaments actually. I can't play on Tuesdays so I emailed support re: the Thursday Throttle satty and got back a template type response telling me I was wrong to I needed to more carefully read what satellites I was playing. I luckily took a screen shot of the satty lobby showing I was right and sent that back. I got a second reply from a different service rep saying my request was being sent to the relevant team for checking. That was yesterday at 1230 EST. So we'll see. But something on their end is ****ed up for sure.

I emailed again for todays Saturday Swish issue but as well, we'll see what they say.

Ive only ever dealt with their support one other time and the first rep I spoke to was an idiot. Clearly just there to handle email flow and send back pre-typed responses. The second person was knowledgeable and took care of the issue. Too late for the Saturday Swish obv, Ill just play tonight but they better fix the $110 ticket for me.

I've never been a fan of the auto registration. I don't like late regging but every satellite I've ever played runs over the start time of its target tourney, one even went 40 mins into late reg. ****ing pisses me off and makes me not want to play satties anymore. No good reason not to just award a ticket to use the next day or whenever is more convenient for the player.

So don't play the Saturday swish sattie if you want to play the swish because the target mtt is the daily 5k. Now I just gotta figure out which sattie is for the swish.

Thats the same base template response I got the first time too. Those people are just bots who respond using preset responses that will help more people than not. When I replied to that saying they were wrong, thats when someone else started helping who understood the issue. I still havent gotten an answer on whats being done, but at least its been elevated past the bot rep.

We'll see what happens today trying to satty into the Teaser and the Scrimmage though lol

That might be the dumbest response possible. Their response is almost like they can't read, or aren't reading it's a SATURDAY SWISH SATTY, then telling you to kindly read more carefully.

Global, I love ya, but that reply is an embarrassment. Reminds me of ACR's first tier of support.

@Global: I have long been a proponent of ticket satties. Stop with these direct entry games! I understand you're trying to pump up a specific event with specific satties, but consider:

1) Most people who enter the satty will plan to play the specifically targeted event anyway.
2) People who would like $55 tickets (or whatever) but can't play that target event, would play the satty if it awarded a ticket instead of direct entry (it can only increase the field size of satties, never decrease them, putting more $$ into the MTT pool in the end).
3) All tickets are set to expire 30 days after issuance (fine), so all satty money will be funneled back into the MTT pool without question.

Ticket satties beef up everything and don't limit anything. Maybe 12 tickets to the Swish don't all get used on the Swish that day, maybe only 8 do and 4 hold their tickets. But that day's Swish will also have other ticket holders from prior sats that reg today. There are certain satties I would play pretty much every time they ran if I got a ticket, but have to pass on them as it is now whenever I can't play the target event.

JFC. I mean, I understand that not all the service reps there are going to have an in depth knowledge of how a tournament satellite system works but come on. I would think basic reading comprehension would be a prerequisite to have that job.

I won a $110 tik it didnt reg me for the 25k and initially I had a tik but now I dont and when I first had it it wouldnt work for the 25k only other $110 tourneys but now it vanished.

Check the Tuesday Tussle, you are going to be registered in it and if you are unable or don't want to play it you are **** out of luck cause support will tell you its your fault for not readiing the lobby correctly.

You are right I am registered for that tourney is not really fair if they dont change it I would rather play a softer tourney that overlays than the tussle, and if I do play the tussle I would rather late reg it if I even feel like playing poker on tuesday

It looks like everyone who was in the Tuesday Tussle is now unregistered as the player pool is back to zero. I also have a $110 ticket in my account. So it looks like they made it right. Dont know if they fixed the satellite glitch or not, but theyre at least fixing it on the players end. Maybe because the Sunday Teaser overlayed by $3500 because not of the people who won a satellite were actually entered.

Satellites are still messed up, if you tried to satellite into the scrimmage through a scrimmage satellite you got stuck into the rattlesnake instead of todays scrimmage

They lost a ton of money on this mess up too. Every one of these mtts has overlayed by a few thousand because all the satellite winners got put into different mtts.

Scrimmage overlaid by 10k today lol, someone ****ed up big time with this satellite mess.

Hi, everyone. We can confirm that there was an issue with the satties earlier. Everyone affected should have received an email and re-issued a ticket by now. Please let me know in case you still haven't received your ticket to the correct target tourney.

I'm sorry that this was not handled properly. We are going to take steps to ensure that this situation does not repeat itself. I have requested a mandatory review session to make sure our representatives are aware of the proper procedure for such cases.

Global has had their share of gaffes and missteps for sure (what poker site hasn't), but in my experiences they always make it right in the end.


LOL, yeah, this kind of thing should never really happen, regardless of the experience or training level of the rep.

I had this happen twice yesterday, first for the Sunday scrimmage and the second time for the daily 5k. It did auto register me for tournaments other than the ones I was playing satellites for. By last night I had gotten emails explaining the situation, along with a 55$ ticket and a 218$ ticket. However, by this afternoon my 218$ ticket has disappeared from my account (the 55$ ticket is still there). Obviously I can't use the 218$ ticket until next Sunday , but I have already had it 1)not register me for sundays Sunday's tournaments (twice), 2)enter me into incorrect tournaments, 3)unenrolled from the tournament's and given the tickets, 4)had the 218$ ticket vanish from my account. I do have a query in FWIW.

I did also win the 1$ GPC Main event ticket yesterday, that one did actually correctly enter me into that tournament , which I am thankful for.

I hate the support system. I've been exchanging emails for the last 24 hours and i've dealt with 5 different people replying to the same issue. This is the best response though. Basically telling me to go **** myself. I played a sunday mtt that gave 12 seats to the sunday $110, however i was auto regged in a ****ing $110 mtt on tuesday. I cant even play the $110 rattlesnake event 1 that runs today, it doesnt allow me, so my sunday satty win ends up forcing me to play a tuesday mtt. LOL SO STUPID
