Yep, I'm primarily a tournament player these days, but every time I dabble in 1/2 or 2/4nl there are multiple fish everywhere.

So, how can you think this, but two people that play 10x these stakes think the games are awesome? I believe the principal reason is that people underestimate the number of REGFISH that play poker. They play every day, and since there's no cash game tracker for Global nobody knows how much people are winning/losing, so all these guys just get marked as "regs", regardless of how good they actually are at the game.

It's why I hate the term "recreational player". The way poker players use this term is just straight up inaccurate. Many fish play a lot and take the game seriously, so they are not playing "for recreation"; it's a serious thing for them, they just happen to suck at it. They're fish.

Who cares how good or bad the games are? You can't deposit or withdraw your money without a big hassle. Lock games were really juicy too if you get what I mean

I just did my first WD yesterday with worldpay, hopefully it's not as much as a hassle as everyone is saying, good to hear the games are still good for you poker12, if something happens with global where are you going to go? Are you able to play live where your at?

Yeah but PokerONETWO we still need fresh new players. More and more often you play a bunch of tables and it's all the same guys. It's changed in the last few months, wasn't as amplified as it is now. We need new players coming all the time.

For a few years I've thought about moving out to LA and mixing live play with online, probably won't though. They have daily 1/2 and 2/5nl games in my town.

I mean, sure, but in the earlier days of this site the action was far softer than any site had reason to be in 2017/2018. It was always gonna reach some equilibrium where strong players found out about Global and some fish bust. Unfortunately I don't believe that there is some great influx of players that we'd see if only Global were to make x change.

I see where you're coming from but it's just not true. They had a great marketing campaign on FB because they were targeting male 21-45 demo with discretionary income.

There's no way that's capped out - However, I'm sure there's some suppression from FB on their reach since the new year.

I'd love to map out Global targeting some specific male verticals that i think would convert players. i'm not seeing the marketing out there. The occasional repeated FB sponsored post.

Paypal is now a 'mute' point since it's gone.

I'm sure a lot of this is growing pains. But it's obvious that micro cash has hit a bit of a wall.

Global needs fresh players its getting stale

I just thought about this, a great way to measure if new players are coming in is the number of people registered in the New Player Freeroll. It isn't a perfect metric, but then what is?

Today's number (an hour before the tourney):

142

I'd say there's 20%-30% less traffic now.

Funny, I did the same thing. Yet, many FB players are complaining on FB they can't make a purchase, some seem freaked out by it, they are also trying to perform CO's.

I'm not seeing any of these comments on their FB page and I've looked pretty hard.

With all due respect, you just didn't look enough I suppose. I read plenty of them. They're mixed in with people griping of how the site is a rip off, no more paypal, Global stealing their money, etc.

I've been checking cash table counts around midday the past couple weeks and if anything traffic is increasing rather than declining. Your metric is obviously better though. I find it strange Saturday afternoon traffic is always weak compared to other days of the week. It's like there's tons of guys playing on mobile at work or something.
