They should contact joe rogan and become a sponsor on his podcast, the guy is a libertarian that does not like what happened to online poker, he would gladly sponsor global probably, his numbers are insane also, it would bring in A TON of players, more than what you have seen with facebook.

Yes....I play 1/2-3/6 normally, and even the 1/2 games are become a lot more depleted. It's often 1 fish to 5 regs.

All of these comments are fair. I was a reg but the action was too swingy and I do call into question the validity of their RNG. I don't post about it, I don't whine, I just cashed out and went back to ACR. That's how bad I view GP. It sent me back to ACR...

Glad to hear regs are leaving GP!

I think they just should make rake bigger so all the regs will leave. Call the site Fish Heaven
06-05-2018 , 06:22 PM
I said this months ago but they started advertising on PokerNews and some other podcasts, **** makes no sense to me and goes against what they have been about. Even the WSOP2018 vids on PN got the GLobal logo in the bottom left lol

This is the best comment ever, that would be a great idea. **** Joe advertises for underwear and **** lol no reason he wouldnt go for GP, plus he had on Isaac Haxton on the podcast

joey we all know youre reading this. please make advertising to recreational players priority #1. *nothing* matters more than the health of the ecosystem

Sarcasm isn't your strong suite, I'm guessing?

in general you shouldnt give the avg human credit for trolling instead of just being clueless

That's the nature of the poker site life cycle. The games start out really good and a bunch of regs eventually hear about them.

Given their "rec player model" I am surprised they haven't capped the number of tables you can play yet. That seems to be the way to go in terms of preserving the longevity of a site (especially a site that is relatively small). There is an inflection point where regs playing too many tables is actually a bad thing. Bovada has had the best games in terms of quality since Black Friday and they have a cap. BetOnline also just put on a table cap.

fair point. what are those sites capped at? something like 6-8 seems reasonable

Do you know how many individuals on facebook actually see ads and click on them? Do some research on that and tell me if it gets a 100 Million+ clicks in a month, because thats how much JRE is getting, I guarantee global poker is not even getting anywhere near those numbers on facebook.
06-06-2018 , 01:09 PM
Lot of bad regs in this thread (myself included). To all those spreading around how soft this site is wp at bringing more regs. Another reason why high rake on this site will help to kill it further.

how much more likely do you think a fish is to click a fb ad that brings them to globals site to sign up than a fish would be to hear something on a podcast and remember it/look it up later? dont be dumb
