I played in the $100 guaranteed 6-max tourney tonite at 12:30AM EDT and there was a player with the username F***You. (There were no asterisks in his username- the four-letter-word was spelled out.)

Even stranger was that his name was at the top of the alphabetical player list even though many players had usernames starting with letters A thru E. I didn't notice any weird punctuation or anything at the beginning of his name that would put it at the top of the list.

Thought this was strange.

(He didn't cash.)

yeah, not sure how/why the site doesn't have a filter applied in the chat. Some of the stuff that is said is pretty strong and there are definitely older ladies that play here.

older (white) ladies are generally more racist and open to the n-word in my experience. have you considered that they are the ones that are using strong language?

I saw this guy. Also someone by the name of yardape with a black man avatar. Turns out there's a lot of racists on this site and apparently their usernames aren't vetted.

Well, that's a pretty ridiculous thing to say and no, that's an inane suggestion. One lady I referred would not be happy with the use of 'damn'.

A lot of women prefer playing online because they aren't subjugated to toolbags harassing them at the tables. I saw a name that had c**t in it. Some dumb ppl posting in this thread. It's not about PC, why would you want to offend a certain segment of your consumers for no reason at all?

Being offended by words is a choice. Why would you give people and words that much power over you? But on the other hand I'd probably want the type of people who would be offended to stick around. People who are offended by words are often not the brightest bunch.

People that choose a name like that are huge fish 99% of the time. They are essentially putting a fish tag on themselves for you.
