Splash pots are gone as a standard feature. They may show up in a promotion.

I don't know about u guys, but I wayyyyy prefer the 30% rake back over the splash pots. TBH, I probably lost more than I won trying to win splash pots w/ bad hands =)

Yea because you can’t literally sit down for one hand and win a splash the pot. Rakeback is for people that keep the games going. Rewarded for the hands you play. It’s a win for the players and the site

I will likely play SnGs often if they add "The Vault Giveback" to SNGs.

I primarily play MTTs and understand they are the least likely to get "The Vault" feature given all the overlays and other promotions the MTT grinders already take advantage of.

will definitely encourage more tables to consistently run, hope they make it permanent as well.

Oh, yeah. I agree. This "rakeback" (I don't think they want to call it that) is much better than splash pots.

I think they call it "giveback".

Kind of like free rolls tournaments are called something else too.

As the person who has put in more volume this year then anyone at sngs (thus far). I hope they address the sng stuff fast.

See now you guys can quit complaining about the rake now. That should bring some traffic back to global. If it comes back I might start playing again. Traffic still pretty small compared to Bovada. I think this is their thank you for the year they had last year. It was not to shabby. In its financial 2022 accounts lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission in October, VGW posted year-on-year revenue growth of 55 per cent to $3.5 billion and an increase in profit after tax of 54 per cent to $454 million.

Wait, you are sitting out of the softest games available to US players because you don't get a few cents back on your dollar? Not judging, just checking to make sure I understand your post.

not completely, i'm sitting out because they have the worst support on the planet.. Been trying to get my account verified for a week. They denied my ID because my birthday was a few days ago and it's expired(fair enough), but I uploaded my passport now TWICE and it goes to "pending" for a few minutes then goes back to a unverified, i get no email stating why, i've emailed global 2 or 3 times now and not even a response.

But to answer your question, those few cents add up to quite a lot when you play thousands of SNG's a year. It's about 21 cents per game at my stakes or higher. That adds up fast af when you have 35% rakeback on WPN. In a game with single digit ROI's every "penny" counts. Especially a quarter of a dollar per game.

Where the **** is my money? It falsely claims we get 30% rakeback and I haven't gotten anything from last session, pathetic.

Okay I got it finally after a few hours, sorry I was complaining I really needed that $2.17 in rakeback I can buy one mcchicken and split it into 4 seperate meals for the day

Not sure if rakeback grinders are the reason, but the cash games have been absolutely atrocious lately. Sad for a once great site.

I was about to post the same thing about PLO. Lots more tables but the average pot size shown in the lobby for each table is about half as big as before rakeback.

Had a feeling that's how things would play out

Would gladly give up the rakeback if GP invested the $$ into sign up and re-deposit promotions as well as social media advertising like they used to.

I play about 3k hands a week of PLO or PLO8..... thats a guess on how fast I usually get to 500 hands played on Sunday night. I don't notice the games being worse at all. In fact I see plenty of new names playing and more tables running. Same action too. Only thing I do notice is free money in my vault

Haven't truly grinded cash since they added *The Vault " but have had several 10 to 20NL and PLO sessions after work where I was far from sober and had no problem winning. Definitely NOT more difficult and those levels.
