I redeemed my balance earlier today and now am playing another session but now it's stuck on 0 and greyed out. Maybe its a once a day cash out thing? I wish they would publish details.

OK, so the Vault is shortly going to be made available to all, so here’s a quick updated FAQ for our loyal Discord followers.

1. What is the Vault? It’s a place where you may accumulate bonus coins as you play Ring and Surge poker games. You can then ‘open the vault’ and claim the coins, adding them to your GC and SC balance.

2. How is the bonus accumulation calculated? For the beta period we gave approximately 10% of the rake of each pot back to the players that contributed to that pot*. For this rollout, we are increasing this to 30%.

3. Wait. WAIT. Is this… rakeback?! It is… similar.

4. Do I need to do anything else to earn or claim? There are no additional requirements to accumulate bonus coins in the Vault. To open the Vault and claim the coins, you need to have a verified Global Poker account and satisfy all other relevant requirements set out in our Terms and Conditions.

5. Is there a minimum amount that can be claimed? Nope.

6. Does SNG or JSNG or MTT or Casino play qualify? Nope. We may consider including other games in the future. SNGs seem the obvious choice, but we are considering other options.

7. What does this mean for the Amplifier? We are standing down the Amplifier as a permanent feature, and going to reserve it for special ‘Amped Up’ events and promotions.

8. Why 30%? Great question. We know that US poker players love ring games, and we want to make Global Poker the number one choice for ring game enthusiasts.

9. Is this permanent? It is our intent to make the Vault a persistent feature of Global Poker, but I don't want to say 'permanent' at this stage. Whether it will stay at a flat 30% for all players is not certain, our preference is to keep things simple. Right now I will commit to sustaining this at 30% for six months at least, unless we have significant unexpected outcomes. We are going to give tens of millions of GC and millions of SC in that period, but we want to ensure this investment keeps the games fun and engaging.

10. What is the objective? Success for us is simply more players playing ring and surge games, and we hope this helps.

* *What do you mean by “approximately? There is some rounding. Also, each player in a pot does not get the same amount, the amount accumulated is close to proportional to the coins put in the pot by that player. This calculation basis may be refined.

Just tried it out and it worked great. I played three 0.05/0.10 tables for maybe fifteen minutes and my vault rakebake increased 0.32 SC.

Hopefully this brings more people to the ring games…and not just boring, nitty “pros”.

They need a mobile version that is easier to play. Something that is streamlined like ClubGG would increase traffic A TON. I know myself and others only have access to a phone to play alot of the time and trying to play global on a browser is not a good experience compared to competitors.

You mtt players have had it good enough, Cash game players have been funding your overlays, Its about time we got something back other then freerolls that cash players don't want to bother with.

I play plenty of cash but it isn’t the cash games that fund the overlays it’s the slots. Though I will admit the traffic is better on all sides of poker it really hasn’t been great the past few years. That’s why I’m shocked they implemented rakeback. Usually poker sites that have any sort of casino could care less about poker. It doesn’t come close to making the money their slots make

Does anybody have any concerns about the Verification Process with Global Poker? They want access to bank account information. With account numbers, home address, phone number, drivers license, sounds pretty scary if it gets into the wrong hands. Can anybody here enlighten me if you have gone through this process and ease my suspicious mind?

Not sure why you would put this in a thread about rakeback, but in any event, I have gone through it and have not had a problem. When I started, I was a little concerned, but I used a bank account that literally had $1 in it, and I was only going to use it for Global. So I figured if something happened there, I would know it was because of Global, and I wouldn't be risking any other money. But in 2 and half years, I have never had any issue with that account.

no I read it I was talking about actually showing the "30%" number in the software. I just see the amount I've "earned" and the ability to redeem it... didn't know if it showed how much rake was paid and then distributed

My fault, no I don’t see that. I do see they took out the beta info though. I know in the ACR client if you put your cursor over the pot it will show how much rake is taken from the pot but I’m not aware of any site that shows your rakeback from each pot as you earn it

This rakeback might be a bad thing in the long run. We might get the ACR players VPN ing in.

But, I am happy about it. It looks like it will work like the envelopes. They said you will have to clear the money taken from the vault before you can redeem it.

I noticed they got rid of the 10% rake back that was under the beta testing tab in my profile so I guess I'm getting 30% like errbody else now.... Thanks Global =).

Right. When I said, "Redeem" I meant cashing out. You can't cash the money out until you have played enough to clear it. That is the same with the envelope system.

Do you have a link to that info? It is my understanding, there is no play through requirement on the rake back money.

Rule number 4 says, "Players are required to play through their SC Vault balance before being able to redeem for prizes."

I haven't played a ton since they added the rakeback but in the session I played this morning, I didn't notice any of the splash pots or whatever they call them where it puts 5BB into the pot before the hand starts. Did they take this out to compensate for the rakeback?
